Wake is redefining urban hospitality in Medellín. Its website is now a standalone digital platform where the brand connects with visitors and manages their reservations throughout the entire process.

Overview
Wake is a hospitality, gastronomy, wellness, and community ecosystem located in Provenza, Medellín. As is often the case in the hotel industry, its website needed not only to communicate its value proposition but also to become a digital asset in its own right: a place to showcase rooms, experiences, spaces, and reservations without relying on external platforms that reduce margins and control.

Our main challenge was to create a digital presence that captured the essence of Wake—modern, sensory, and mindful—while also serving as a clear, user-friendly acquisition and transaction tool that was efficient for the business.
approach
We designed a custom website, crafted to bring the Wake experience to the digital realm: visually striking, fluid, and centered on exploring spaces. The architecture and design prioritize direct booking, allowing users to learn about the project and book seamlessly.

Each section showcases a part of the ecosystem (rooms, dining, spa, gym, and common areas) with a narrative that reinforces well-being as the brand’s core focus. The result is a proprietary digital asset where Wake can communicate its identity, consolidate its offerings, and manage bookings from start to finish without intermediaries.

The real goal: owning the booking.
While brand storytelling and spatial narrative were central to the experience, the project's north star was always commercial: enabling direct reservations through the website and reducing dependency on platforms like Booking or Airbnb, which charge significant fees on every transaction.

Every design decision, from information architecture to the booking flow, was made with conversion in mind. Clarity through the reservation process was one of our greatest areas of focus, ensuring that a user who arrives inspired by the brand can complete a booking without friction, keeping the full value of each reservation within Wake's ecosystem.
